Dr. Seth Gross Presents Lecture on Gastric Reflux and other Digestive Disorders at Waveny Care Center

“Heartburn – Don’t Ignore It!” will be the next topic in the Waveny Care Center and Norwalk Hospital lecture series to be held at Waveny Care Center on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.

 Heartburn and acid indigestion are common problems that should not be ignored. Dr. Seth Gross, an expert in the treatment of digestive diseases, will discuss the causes, symptoms, risks and treatments of these conditions. Following his presentation, he will allow time to answer questions from the audience.

Dr. Gross, director of advanced endoscopy at Norwalk Hospital, joined the hospital in 2008. He received his fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Mayo Clinic. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital – New York University School of Medicine. He also served as a hospitalist at North Shore University Hospital- NYU. Dr. Gross is the recipient of numerous honors and awards for his accomplishments in the field of gastroenterology.

He holds memberships in the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterology Association and the American Medical Association.
